Fiesta!

The rainclouds dissolved and the sun burned through on Sunday for Fiesta(!) DC, the annual Latin American Festival that rages up and down Mt. Pleasant Street, a few dozen feet from my new front door. Given the neighborhood's demographics, the fiesta became a de facto a Salvadorian celebration, which, given the succulence of Salvadorian pupusas, was alright with me. I snapped a few photos. Here's a caballero singing to my neighborhood:
